Shelling in Beit Hanun: Grave suspicion of a war crime

This morning, Israeli artillery shells struck a residential area in the Gaza Strip, killing 18 civilians, among them 7 minors. An examination of the incident, including the fact that the shelling was not necessary for immediate defense, raises the grave suspicion that the artillery fire constitutes a war crime. B'Tselem demanded the immediate opening of a criminal investigation. meer>
